Glass Ceilings

Production history – Most Recently seen in Los Angeles at the Rockwell Table and Stage for opening weekend of it’s month long run – which was unfortunately cut short by COVID-19.  We plan to return to finish the run as soon as it is safe!

Prior to this Selections from Glass Ceilings have been featured in “A Little New Music” at the Wallis Annenburg.  We have showcased multiple times at The Rockwell Table and Stage’s new musical showcase – Musi-Cal.   In February 2019 Glass Ceilings became the first musical to be workshopped at SAG featuring both screen and broadway veterans.

Awards: Glass Ceilings won 3rd place in the Search for New Musicals 2019.

Synopsis: Eight inspiring ladies from different time periods whose stories you should know, but likely don’t, suddenly find themselves in the surreal afterlife of “Hergatory.”

These remarkable women try to solve the mystery of why they’ve been gathered together by sharing their stories through songs and flashbacks as they watch events unfold on Earth and wonder if equality for all will ever be achieved. With a pink haired Goddess, an all female band, and a cast of singers who can really rock, this might be the most fun and inspiring women’s history lesson you’ve ever had!
